Nowruz Art Commission – Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, USA), 2026

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) School of Science commissioned me to create an artwork to commemorate the festival of Nowruz in the spring of 2026.

Artist’s Statement:

The architecture and scripts of Ancient Persia evoke the origins of Nowruz and celebrate its enduring legacy. By bringing the past into the present, this work renews the foundations of the holiday and contributes to its living heritage.
