“He Loves Beauty”, Paintings by Sameeta Ahmed, exhibited at Williams Chapel, Harvard Divinity School, Harvard University.

These paintings interpret calligraphically sayings often repeated in Sufi teachings, being either Quranic quotes or Hadith Qudsi, depicting mystical thought from the Muslim tradition:

“God is Beautiful, and He loves Beauty” (HQ), 

“Wherever you turn, there is the Face of God” (Quran 2:115),

“I (God) was a Hidden Treasure, and wanted to be known; so, I created, to be known” (HQ).
